Here's some lines for my latest piece.

I decided to keep the colours simple on this one and I think it made the lines pop more.
I put the blue tattoo detail in quickly to see how it might look.

Slurpy

Just some random doodling, letting my brain fall out on the paper. I still need to colour this.

Work In Progress Commission

I was commissioned to do this, I really like it and they do too, so that worked out ha.

I had freedom to do my thing on this, with a theme ideas for themes and style. There was a particular piece of mine in a similar style they liked which was the main inspiration.

OH NOES!

Some manga inspired randomness

I went with a splashy street style colour scheme

I did this one in alternative colours

Which is your favourite?

Cthulhulululululu

This started to move out of doodle territory a bit. I think if I polish the lines up a bit it could make some nice band art. I wanted to try something a little different, only spent a few hours on it.

Project Photo Doodle

Project Photo Doodle.com

I've started a new blog for my art project 'Project Photo Doodle'. The idea is I doodle on photos from around the world. I aim to get people involved by donating their own photos for the project too. Any photos will help; silly photos, holiday photos etc, just check out the blog and if you're interested in sending a photo for the project email me.

This Owl Knows Where You Live...

Still being productive with my week off. I should really work on one of my 'unfinished' pictures, but oh well...

Here's a creepy looking owl with scary arms;

I think this is gonna need some more layers of colour and detail (so, another 'unfinished' piece...), but I kinda like it as it is.

I also made this while scribbling in photoshop, just for the LULZ;

Tshirt anyone?

Wake Up...

Day 2 of my week off, and with the missus and youngling away (visiting family), I've had the time to be creative.

So, I decided to do something a little surreal.

[click to see bigger]

The theme started off as a 'surreal breakfast time', then developed into 'wake up'. The surreal and dreaming go hand in hand...the person is a lamp, which is meant to symbolise waking up (being switched on). There's an alarm clock and the morning radio, and the toaster is making a brew/breakfast. Then there's the 'early bird'.

I might add more details yet.

Work in progress?

Not up-dated for a little while and wasn't going to post this until I thought it was finished, but haven't had the time to do anything recently. So, here's what I've done, a few people think it looks finished, but I'm not sure and plan to add more to it...

Will upload the finished version eventually. But, at the moment, I'm working on something top secret, shhh...

Bad Acid

Started scribbling on photoshop and ended up quite liking it. Thought with the right adjustments it would make a pretty decent flyer. Nothing special, but thought I'd post something...

Almost finished...

The original PSD file of this is pretty damn big and it's taken some time to fill it all up.

I've drawn it all in photoshop with a graphics tablet and stylus. I think I'm gonna keep it black and white.

Closer detail, click to make them bigger;

I'm pretty happy with how it's turned out, but might alter the top half a bit. Think I might fill it up like the bottom half. I'll post up a edited version soon!

Daydreaming...

Thought of this idea daydreaming on the bus and thought I'd experiment a bit...

Didn't spend too long on it really, drawn in photoshop with a graphics tablet.
